The FUTURE of FOODSERVICE is bright... no doubt!
This week, I had the privilege to join one of our Cutting Edge clients at CREATE: The Future of Foodservice in Denver, Colorado. It was the first conference I attended since March 2020 and was one to remember. Here are my fav's from the conference.
Meeting old friends and making new ones
With a lot of options to network and connect (with safety precautions at the forefront of our minds), the CREATE conference offered the perfect opportunities for us to connect with old friends and meet new ones!
From Trade Show to Festival
During these challenging times, it's been difficult to find safe ways to sample food at Trade Shows. The Food Festival was brilliantly executed and was a new and exciting way for manufacturers to showcase products and attendees to sample food. Famous dishes from local favorites to mouth-watering dishes from some of the best foodservice brands, no attendee was left hungry! The festival approach is a way of the future and one I'd like to see much more of as we anticipate the return of more in-person events!
There's always time to celebrate
We ate, we drank, and we celebrated the 2020/2021 MenuMasters Award winners. It was a great reminder that we have a lot to celebrate and a lot to be proud of. The foodservice industry may have shut down, but it never slowed us down. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all for showing us once again that the industry is resilient and stronger than ever. The Future is Bright.
